Happiness.

Lately, I've been a little down in the dumps.
I've tried (although not successfully) to avoid the news.
And I stayed away from The Facebook for a few days.
The reasons for my melancholy?
Well that is for another day.
Today, I want to focus on happiness.
Because when I get a little down....there are a few things that can always lift my spirits.
Like........

A pile of granny squares.

A relaxing day by the pool with a little lime concoction.

A sweet baby face.

A day of scrapbooking (ignore the mess!)

Happy hour trivia! (No.  I am not an alcoholic! )

At the end of the day.
There was no school work.
There was no watching the news or more specifically, politics.
There was no Facebook.
There was happiness.
Now if I could just stay completely away from the Facebook, the internet, and the tv.
I would then probably always be happy.

Hi Wendy! Love all the grannies! Yes, they can always do the trick for a bit. The trick on the Internet is to only go to places that make you happy! I just read in my Health Magazine last night that you should just unfriend people that bum you out on Facebook. I unfriended one that never posted anything but negative political crap. I felt better after I did it. I hope I didn't hurt her feelings, but whatever! I don't know that they even are notified because she hasn't said a word. My mental health is more important than a stupid social media site anyway.

Also, I've always heard that doing for others when you are feeling down will make you feel much better. Maybe a random act of kindness is in order, and it's so easy to do.

I sound like a know-it-all, don't I? I struggle with the same thing all the time though. I hope you feel better soon! XOXO
